What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is a consultation designed to understand your concerns, relevant history, and what brings you to therapy at this point. We will begin mapping a direction for future sessions based on your needs and goals. It is also a space for you to ask questions and get clarity about the process. The focus is on building comfort and rapport, with no pressure to share everything at once.
How do I book an appointment?
Appointments are scheduled in advance and are subject to availability. You can book a session through the ‘Schedule a Session’ tab on the website or via the WhatsApp icon, which will direct you to my work number. Once a suitable time is discussed, the session is confirmed only after payment is completed at least 48 hours in advance.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy can be helpful if you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns, facing emotional or relational challenges, or seeking greater clarity and self-understanding. It is a space for reflection, insight, and change. If you are open to exploring your experiences and working toward long-term emotional wellness, therapy may be a meaningful step forward.
How long is each session?
Regular therapy sessions are 60 minutes long, allowing sufficient time to explore concerns meaningfully while maintaining emotional balance. The first session is a consultation with some time flexibility to understand your background, concerns, and therapy goals in greater depth.
What is the format of a therapy session?
Sessions are conducted in a one-on-one, confidential online setting via Zoom, FaceTime, or WhatsApp video. Each session is structured yet flexible—we focus on what feels most relevant for you, using guided conversation, reflection, and therapeutic techniques to build insight and practical tools.
How often should I attend sessions?
The frequency of sessions depends on your needs and goals. Typically, weekly sessions are recommended to build continuity and depth, though this may be adjusted over time based on your progress and availability.
How does individual therapy work?
Individual therapy offers a safe, one-on-one space where we explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at a pace that feels right for you. Sessions are tailored to your unique needs and goals, helping you gain insight, develop coping tools, and move toward personal growth and healing.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes, all sessions are conducted online for your convenience and comfort. Therapy is accessible to clients globally, with scheduling adjusted to accommodate different time zones wherever possible.
Sessions & Process
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
A minimum of 4 hours’ notice is required for any cancellation or rescheduling. Such requests are accommodated up to two times per month, and only in cases of emergency or exceptional circumstances. Frequent cancellations or changes beyond this limit may lead to discontinuation of sessions.
Do you provide session summaries?
Clients are encouraged to make their own notes during or after sessions. A brief clarification of strategies may be provided when needed; however, there should be no expectation of detailed summaries after each session.
Can I contact you between sessions?
Communication between sessions is limited to scheduling or appointment-related matters. Messages or calls regarding ongoing concerns or therapeutic discussions are not attended to outside of sessions.

What are your session charges?
Session fees are shared upon initial contact. This allows for any clarifications and ensures that all details are clearly understood before proceeding with the booking.
How does booking confirmation and payment work?
Appointments are scheduled in advance and are subject to availability. Once a suitable time slot is discussed, payment details (bank transfer or QR code) will be shared. The session is confirmed only after payment is received, which must be completed at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled time.
Will I receive an invoice for my sessions?
Yes, all invoices are shared digitally for your convenience. No physical copies will be provided.

Is therapy confidential?
Yes, all sessions are conducted in a private and confidential setting. What you share in therapy is treated with respect and discretion, creating a safe space for open and honest exploration.
Are there any exceptions to confidentiality?
Confidentiality may be limited in situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. In such cases, appropriate steps may be taken, which can include informing a relevant authority or a trusted contact, to ensure safety and support.
